Presentation: What's Coming on Web Design by Adam Bell, Design Director and CEO of dataTV.
We are currently at a major shift in web design technologies and many designers and developers are making changes to how they work and how clients present their web projects. We'll take a look at how web design has evolved from the early days of browsers to Flash to new technologies from HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. We'll look at Adobe's new Flash-like HTML5 animation and interactivity tool, Edge and other new technology.
Adam Bell is Design Director and CEO of dataTV, which is based in Sherman Oaks, CA. Bell has been designing and developing websites since 1996 and has won three Macromedia (now Adobe) Site of the Day awards. Bell has designed HTML5 projects for Ford Motor Company and many other companies. Bell runs the Los Angeles Adobe User Group (http://laadug.org/) and has presented at PROMAX/BDA, Screen Actors Guild, FITC, NAB, Silicon Beach Fest and other conferences.

Future Salons are monthly educational, activist, and social events, focused on existing or emerging scientific, technological, entrepreneurial, or social change topics and projects worthy of your help and attention. We also cover critical-thinking, management, and personal change topics, and occasionally longer-term scientific and philosophical topics. Our goal is to make our rapidly changing world more fascinating, manageable, profitable, and positive-sum for all of us. We strive to be both doing-action-project oriented, and thinking-idea-prioritizing oriented. About the Future Salon Network initiated by John Smart: http://www.accelerating.org/futuresalon.html
